Algeria's Sonatrach boosts exports by 7 pct in Jan-Feb - officials

BIR REBAA NORTH, Algeria, March 18 (Reuters) - Algerian state energy company Sonatrach said on Saturday that its exports had risen to 17.9 million tonnes of oil equivalent in January and February, 7 percent higher than a year earlier.

Gas output reached 22.4 billion cubic metres in the first two months of this year, 6 percent higher than in the same period of 2016, officials said.

Crude oil production stood at 8.13 million tonnes in January and February, a rise of 3 percent. (Reporting by Lamine Chikhi; Editing by Dale Hudson)
