JOHANNESBURG, Sept 20 (Reuters) - South Africa's rand recovered some lost ground on Thursday, immediately after the central bank kept its benchmark repo rate steady at 5 percent.
The rand was at 8.35 to the dollar following the decision, having weakened to 8.38 earlier in the session on the central bank's inflation outlook. (Reporting by Vuyani Ndaba; editing by David Dolan)
