PARIS, Nov 6 (Reuters) - French utility EDF has begun the restart phase of its 900 megawatt (MW) Cruas 3 nuclear reactor with the aim of reaching full capacity by Nov. 9, a company spokeswoman said on Sunday.
The reactor restarted at 1215 GMT with output of 186 MW, she said.
Data published by grid operator RTE earlier on Sunday had shown a restart date of Nov. 9, later than the previously scheduled resumption date of Nov. 5.
The Cruas 3 reactor had been offline since late July for planned maintenance. (Reporting by Gus Trompiz and Bate Felix; editing by David Clarke)
