Statoil evacuates Mongstad refinery after oil leak

OSLO, Oct 10 (Reuters) - Norwegian oil and gas firm Statoil on Monday evacuated its Mongstad oil refinery north of Bergen in Norway after oil leaked out of the plant, Norwegian state broadcaster NRK said.

Mongstad, Norway’s largest refinery, has an annual processing capacity of 10 million tonnes of crude oil.

Statoil was not immediately available for a comment. (Reporting by Victoria Klesty)
