S.Africa's rand firms against wobbly dollar
JOHANNESBURG, Nov 4 (Reuters) - South Africa's rand firmed by more than two percent against the dollar on Wednesday as the greenback wobbled and the gold price climbed to a record.
The rand ZAR=D3 was trading at 7.69 against the dollar at 1350 GMT, after hitting 7.6650, compared with a New York close of 7.84.
The dollar fell broadly while gold XAU= hit record highs above $1,095 an ounce. (Reporting by Phumza Macanda)
