Asia Crude-Vietnam offers 250,000 bbls Feb Song Doc
TOKYO/SINGAPORE Dec 7 (Reuters) - Vietnam's state oil marketer PV Oil has offered 250,000 barrels of Song Doc crude for February loading via tender, a trader said on Tuesday.
The tender closes on Dec. 10, with validity the same day, the trader said.
Vietnam, which until recently had offered 250,000 barrels of Song Doc a month, skipped any tender issue last month.
A company source said this was because output has fallen to 7,000 barrels per day and there is not enough production for a 250,000 barrels cargo. The company will now offer only two cargoes every three months.
The firm plans to explore more wells to raise production next year, although it is not sure how much will be added.
In October, PV Oil sold a Song Doc lot to South Korea's SK Energy at around $6.30 a barrel above Minas formula for Dec. 28-Jan. 3 loading. (Reporting by Osamu Tsukimori and Judy Hua in Singapore; Editing by Joseph Radford)
