Nigeria's Dangote Sugar profit drops

LAGOS (Reuters) - Nigeria's Dangote Sugar said on Wednesday its pretax profit dropped 36 percent to 15.86 billion naira in the nine months to September 30.

Its gross earnings fell to 59.44 billion naira from 64.35 billion a year ago, the firm said in a filing to the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Dangote Sugar earlier on Wednesday reported pretax profit in its first half to June 30 fell 43 percent to 9.74 billion naira.
