LISBON (Reuters) - Angola's foreign exchange reserves rose to $23.1 billion in November from $23.02 billion at the end of September, central bank Governor Jose de Lima Massano said on Tuesday.

Angola, which is Africa's second biggest oil producer after Nigeria, depends on oil exports for over 90 percent of its foreign exchange earnings.

Massano said in a speech published on the central bank's website that foreign reserves grew 33.5 percent from the end of last year, when they stood at $17.3 billion.

He added that macroeconomic stability had been strengthened this year in Angola, particularly through efforts to contain inflation, which he said will remain a key priority and challenge for 2012.
