Mauritius 5-year Treasury bond yield rises to 3.99 pct

PORT LOUIS, April 19 (Reuters) - The weighted average yield on Mauritius' five-year Treasury bond rose to 3.99 percent at auction from 3.40 percent at the previous sale, the central bank said.

The Bank of Mauritius sold all 2.2 billion rupees ($62.6 million) worth of the debt it offered. It received bids worth 4.100 billion rupees, with yields ranging from 3.75 percent to 4.48 percent.

The coupon for the bond due on Feb. 10, 2022 was 3.25 percent, the bank said.
