Palladium touches 3-month high at $809.25/oz
LONDON, June 9 (Reuters) - Palladium prices rose to a three-month high at $809.25 an ounce on Thursday as the euro briefly firmed after the European Central Bank left interest rates on hold as expected.
Spot palladium XPD= was bid at $808.47 an ounce at 1151 GMT, against $799.18 late in New York on Wednesday.
Buying of the autocatalyst metal has been firm this week, with palladium sponge, which is primarily consumed by industrial users, in particular demand, dealers in Europe reported. (Reporting by Jan Harvey, editing by Anthony Barker)
