Nigeria hopes wealth fund will have rating impact
LONDON, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Nigerian Finance Minister Olusegun Aganga said on Friday he hoped a planned sovereign wealth fund would have a positive impact on the country's credit rating.
Aganga told an investor conference in London the fund would have three parts -- intergenerational savings, a stabilisation fund and infrastructure fund for co-investment with other investors, the latter being the largest part.
"The stabilisation fund will be based on robust guidelines ... which I hope should have an impact on Nigeria's sovereign credit ratings," Aganga said.
