Ghana announces February inflation figures, with market looking for a continued fall in the headline figure to provide more scope for central bank rate cuts.

Nigeria's cabinet holds its weekly meeting as the market watches to see if acting President Goodluck Jonathan will carry out another reshuffle to consolidate his position.

GLOBAL MARKETS

Asian stocks hovered near six-week highs on Wednesday after Chinese data showed exports and imports in February were better than expected, while the euro and the pound suffered on renewed concerns about Europe's fiscal problems. [ID:nTOE62906A]   Continued...
