NAIROBI (Reuters) - A senior Kenyan election official has been found dead three days after he went missing, a colleague said on Monday, stirring fears of potential disruption in national elections scheduled for Aug. 8.

Chris Musando was the head of information, communication and technology for the electoral board, said the colleague, who asked not to be named. The circumstances of his death were not immediately clear, the colleague added.

Police were not immediately available for comment on the matter.
