Algeria's seven-month oil and gas revenue up 15 pct -APS, citing finance ministry

ALGIERS, Sept 6 (Reuters) - Algeria’s oil and gas revenue rose by 15.22 percent in the first seven months of 2018 to $22 billion, against $19.1 billion in the same period last year, official news agency APS quoted the finance ministry as saying on Thursday.

The average price of Algeria’s Sahara Blend oil during the first seven months of 2018 was at $71.82, compared with $50.52 in the same period last year, the ministry source told APS.

Oil and gas account for 95 percent of Algeria’s foreign revenue.
