UPDATE 2-Angola's provisional June oil exports at 7-year low of 1.44 mln bpd

LONDON, April 16 (Reuters) - Angola's provisional export
plan for June shows cargo loadings that are set to slip to 1.44
million barrels per day (bpd) of oil in June, the lowest
reflected in Reuters data in seven years.
Some oil produced in Angola goes to its own oil refinery,
meaning export plans do not reflect the entire output.
Additionally, a final June export programme, which will be
issued in the coming weeks, could add cargoes.
But Reuters figures showed the 45 cargoes currently
scheduled to load in June as the lowest planned exports on a
barrel-per-day basis since 1.438 million bpd in June 2011. The
most recent low of 1.48 million bpd was hit in October 2016.
Production in Africa's second-largest oil exporter peaked at
1.9 million bpd in 2008, according to the International Energy
Agency, and has been falling in recent years due to declining
output in the nation's blocks, which suffered from a lack of
investment during the oil price crash.
Angola will get an additional 230,000 bpd -- equivalent to
14 percent of its average 2017 production -- with the startup of
new blocks operated by Total later this year.
But the IEA warned in its five-year outlook that capacity
will drop by some 370,000 bpd by 2023 even with the new
projects.
