Arrai TV says Ukrainian doctor hurt in NATO shelling of Libya

CAIRO, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Arrai television, which has broadcast several audio messages from Gaddafi and his sons and aides, said NATO warships and air planes struck a hospital in Muammar Gaddafi’s hometown Sirte on Wednesday, wounding a Ukrainian doctor and patients there.

The Syria-based television station said the doctor, identified only as Alexander, was severely injured in the attack. It said several patients where also hurt by shrapnel when the shells landed at the Ibn Sina educational hospital in Sirte. It was not immediately possible to verify the report.
