Russia's Gazprom cuts gas price for Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK, April 1 (Reuters) - Russian gas export monopoly Gazprom has reduced the price of natural gas supplied to Kyrgyzstan to $150 per 1,000 cubic metres from $165, Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev’s office said on Friday.

The change, announced after a telephone conversation between Atambayev and Gazprom chief executive Alexei Miller, takes effect from the second quarter of 2016, it said in a statement. (Reporting by Olga Dzyubenko; Writing by Olzhas Auyezov; Editing by Dmitry Solovyov)
