Turkish firms Limak, Summa to complete and operate Senegal's AIBD airport for 25 years

ANKARA, April 28 (Reuters) - Turkish construction firms Limak and Summa were awarded rights to complete the remaining construction of Senegal’s Aeroport International Blaise-Diagne (AIBD) and operate it for 25 years, Limak said on Thursday.

The airport has been under construction for seven years and is 70 percent completed, Limak said. It is expected to help increase Dakar’s annual passenger traffic to 5 million from 2 million now.
