Elia and IFM shortlisted to bid for Greek power grid operator

PARIS, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Belgian grid operator Elia and Australian infrastructure investment fund IFM have been shortlisted to bid for a 66 percent stake in Greek power grid operator Admie, an Elia spokeswoman said on Tuesday.

“We have been shortlisted for a possible Admie bid. We have not made a formal offer yet. The next stage is the due diligence phase,” she said.

In 2010, Elia and IFM bought German grid operator 50Hertz from Sweden’s Vattenfall. (Reporting by Geert De Clercq; Editing by James Regan)
