Swedish appeals court upholds suspension of Gazprom vs Naftogaz arbitration ruling

STOCKHOLM, June 28 (Reuters) - A Swedish appeals court said on Thursday it was upholding the suspension of an arbitration ruling that blocks attempts by Ukraine’s Naftogaz to seize Gazprom’s foreign assets in a long-running dispute over gas contracts.

A temporary decision by Sweden’s Court of Appeal on June 13 suspended the ruling from February by a Stockholm arbitration court that had found against Russia’s Gazprom.

The court said Thursday’s ruling could not be appealed. (Reporting by Helena Soderpalm, Editing by Simon Johnson)
