Greece's PPC chief executive steps down - ministry

ATHENS, July 10 (Reuters) - The chief executive of Greece’s state-controlled utility Public Power Corp. (PPC) has resigned, the energy ministry said on Wednesday.

Manolis Panagiotakis’ resignation comes a day after Greece’s newly-appointed energy minister said the new conservative government will work on a plan to salvage the utility, which is “on the verge of collapse”. (Reporting by Karolina Tagaris)
