LONDON, May 7 (Reuters) -
* Britain’s Sizewell B-2 nuclear plant has gone offline for a planned outage, data from operator EDF’s EDF Energy showed.
* The 600 megawatt (MW) plant will be offline until June 19.
* EDF was asked by National Grid to cut capacity at its Sizewell B site, which is capable of generating a total of 1200 MW, to help it manage the grid amid weak demand due to restrictions placed on businesses and homes to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus.
