PBF Delaware City refinery output not hurt by Friday's fire-sources

NEW YORK, March 20 (Reuters) - PBF Energy’s 182,000 barrel per day refinery in Delaware City, Delaware is seeing minimal if any impact to production after a fire in a desulfurization unit last Friday took out one of that unit’s trains, industry sources said on Tuesday.

The fire was in the heater of one of the four desulfurization unit trains but the unit is still operating around its normal rate of 15,000 to 16,000 bpd, sources said.

“The only unit down now is train four. Everything is online. Train four will be back after heater repairs,” a source told Reuters.

There is no timeline for when the repairs will be completed. (Reporting By Janet McGurty; Editing by David Gregorio)
