UK Dungeness B22 unit back on grid since Jul 24-EDF

LONDON, Jul 25 (Reuters) - EDF Energy’s 550-megawatt Dungeness B22 nuclear reactor returned to the grid on Sunday afternoon, ending an unplanned outage, the company said late on Sunday evening.

“Dungeness’s reactor 22 synchronised to the grid at 16:53 hours (BST) on Sunday July 24,”a spokesman said.

The reactor had been taken off the grid on July 2 following an unplanned outage due to poor condensate quality.
