BUCHAREST, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Romania’s nuclear power operator Nuclearelectrica said on Thursday it had reconnected the reactor number one at its Cernavoda nuclear power plant to the national power grid, after a glitch reported the previous day was fixed.
“It was reconnected to the grid at 11:21 pm (0921 GMT) on Dec. 3,” Nuclearelectrica said in a statement.
It said the reactor was kept in power during the repairs and that the incident posed no threat to personnel, the population or the environment. (Reporting by Radu Marinas; Editing Mark Potter)
