HELSINKI, Sept 20 (Reuters) - Finnish utility Teollisuuden Voima (TVO) was granted on Thursday a new operating licence for its nuclear power plants Olkiluoto 1 and 2 until the end of 2038.
Last year, the units together generated 24 percent of the power produced in the Nordic country.
A proposed third unit to the site has faced major delays and planning problems. It is currently expected to start regular power production in September 2019. (Reporting by Jussi Rosendahl, editing by Terje Solsvik)
