MOSCOW, Dec 15 (Reuters) - A Russian court has delayed the announcement of the verdict in the case of jailed former oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky to Dec. 27, according to notice posted on the door of the court on Wednesday.
“The announcement of the verdict in criminal case no. 1-23/10 on charges against Khodorkovsky M.B. will... take place on Dec. 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.” the notice said.
Judge Viktor Danilkin was supposed to have started reading out the verdict on Wednesday. No reason was given for the unexpected delay. (Reporting by Alexei Anishchuk; writing by Tom Grove; editing by Guy Faulconbridge)
