Zimbabwe inflation accelerates to 4.2 pct y/y in Nov

HARARE (Reuters) - Zimbabwe’s annual inflation accelerated to 4.2 percent year-on-year in November from 3.6 percent in October, the Zimbabwe National Statistical Agency (Zimstats) said on Wednesday.

Zimstats data showed that prices of food, including beef, milk and cooking oil and non alcoholic beverages had pushed the price index up.

On a month-on-month basis, inflation quickened to 0.5 percent from 0.2 percent in October.
