S.Africa's Eskom restarts nuclear power plant unit

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South Africa’s power utility Eskom said on Monday it has returned to service the second unit at its Koeberg nuclear power station that was shut for generator repairs.

The power utility said in a statement that there was no interruption of electricity supply as a result of the shutdown and that the first unit of the plant continued to operate at full power.

The second unit was shut on October 28.
