Ethiopian inflation creeps up in August: Stats office

ADDIS ABABA (Reuters) - Ethiopian year-on-year inflation edged up to 20.2 percent in August from 20.0 percent a month earlier, official data showed on Tuesday.

The Central Statistics Agency data showed food inflation slowing for the sixth consecutive month to 20.4 percent from 20.7 percent in July, but non-food inflation rose to 19.8 percent from 19 percent previously.
