Ethiopian inflation inches up to 10.2 pct in January

ADDIS ABABA (Reuters) - Ethiopia’s year-on-year inflation edged up to 10.2 percent in January from 10.0 percent in the previous month, the statistics office said on Friday.

Food inflation rose to 12.4 percent in January, from 12.1 percent the month before, while non-food inflation also increased to 7.9 percent last month from 7.7 percent in December, the Central Statistics Agency said.
