South Africa's manufacturing output up 0.1 pct y/y in December

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South Africa’s manufacturing output rose by 0.1 percent year on year in December, following a revised 1.3 increase in November, the statistics agency said on Tuesday.

Economist polled by Reuters had forecast a rise of 1.7 percent in year-on-year terms in December.

On a month-on-month basis factory production rose by 0.7 percent in December, Statistics South Africa.
