Gunvor supplies fuel to Libyan rebels from Russia

LONDON, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Trading house Gunvor supplied a cargo of gasoil that loaded at the Russian port of Novorossiisk and is bound for Libyan rebels in Benghazi, traders said and shipping data showed on Friday.

The cargo loaded aboard the Norient Star, which was expected to reach the Libyan port from Russia on August 31.

Traders said the fuel had been supplied by Swiss-based oil trader Gunvor, a company with close connections with Russia, which has yet to recognise the rebels. (Reporting by Jessica Donati; editing by Keiron Henderson)
