Libya rebels launch offensive on strategic town of Ghezaia

NALUT, Libya, July 28 (Reuters) - Libyan rebels launched on Thursday an offensive against a strategic government-held town near the Tunisian border, a spokesman said.

“We have started attacking Ghezaia with rockets and tanks,” Mohammed Maylud told Reuters, adding that rebels had also hit four other villages along Libya’s western mountains.
