Misrata port put out of action--Libyan TV

CAIRO, April 29 (Reuters) - Libyan state television said on Friday that military operations by Muammar Gaddafi’s forces have rendered the port of the rebel-controlled city of Misrata “non-functional”, and warned ships not to try to enter it.

“Among the successes achieved, the vanguard of the armed forces managed to render the Misrata port non-functional,” al-Libiyah television said. “Any attempt to enter the port will be attacked, regardless of the justifications,” it added.
