Rockets hit rebel-held refinery near Misrata-witness

MISRATA, Libya, June 13 (Reuters) - Six rockets hit an oil refinery at the Libyan city of Misrata controlled by rebels opposing Muammar Gaddafi, a witness said on Monday.

The rockets appeared to have hit the refinery’s power generators and did not strike its oil storage facilities, the witness added. The refinery is located near Misrata’s port.

It was not immediately clear who fired the rockets. (Reporting by Matt Robinson; writing by John Irish; editing by Souhail Karam and Andrew Heavens)
