PORT LOUIS, Sept 13 (Reuters) - The weighted average yield on Mauritius’ 20-year Treasury bond fell to 5.55 percent at an auction on Wednesday from 6.54 percent on March 15, the central bank said.
Bank of Mauritius sold all 1.5 billion rupees of the debt it offered.
Bids totalled 5.85 billion rupees, with yields ranging from 5.40 percent to 5.60 percent. The bond has a coupon of 5.48 percent and matures on September 15, 2037. (Reporting by Jean Paul Arouff; editing by Katharine Houreld)
