Mauritius offers 4-year central bank notes worth 2.5 bln rupees

PORT LOUIS, May 17 (Reuters) - Mauritius will sell a four-year central bank bond worth 2.5 billion rupees ($72.99 million) next week, the bank said on Thursday.

The Bank of Mauritius said in a statement it would receive bids on May 21 and auction the bond on the same day.

The coupon rate for the auction will be set equal to or higher than the lowest yield at the auction, the bank said. ($1 = 34.2500 Mauritius rupees) (Reporting by Jean Paul Arouff Editing by Duncan Miriri)
