Mauritius offers 2-year central bank note worth 2 billion rupees

PORT LOUIS, Feb 22 (Reuters) - Mauritius will sell a two-year Bank of Mauritius note worth 2 billion rupees ($56.43 million) next week, the central bank said on Monday.

The bank said in a statement it would receive bids on March 1 and auction the bond on the same day.

The central bank said the coupon rate would be set equal to or higher than the lowest yield at auction. ($1 = 35.4400 Mauritius rupees) (Reporting by Paul Arouff; Editing by George Obulutsa; editing by Edith Honan)
