BRIEF-DRDGold completes study to upgrade Ergo plant treatment capacity

Feb 10 (Reuters) - DRDGold Ltd :

* R23 million Ergo plant upgrade to increase treatment capacity

* Feasibility study has been completed for its Ergo plant to effect an increase in treatment capacity by 300 000 tonnes per month (TPM) to a total of 2.1 million TPM

* Envisages refurbishment and re-commissioning of five tanks within ergo plant’s existing carbon in leach circuit, initially to treat 21 million tonne Van Dyk tailings dam resource

* Project would be funded from additional internal cash flows from retreatment of Van Dyk dam and breaks even at a gold price of R384 000 per kilogram
